Victory burger central. (I'm eating fewer in my dotage ). I once ran into Tommy Thompson there after a game held at Stanford. Have no idea how he beat me there, since he was actually playing in the game.

FWOIW I always thought that guy sounded like the impression of a bad nightclub singer as done by Bill Murray on SNL...
What's the deal with this? Every article I've read talks about how parents, etc. are pissed, but not one discusses the actual facts (i.e. are they using ineligible players?)
The Dead were very much out of my mainstream in terms of what I was mostly listening to, but for some reason struck a chord with me. I recall attending a dead concert in Madison in punk regalia (Blues for Allah t-shirt under black leather motorcycle jacket) and not feeling at all out of place. Bill, Bob and Mickey are the only ones left, I guess.
I went to 79 Dead shows over my lifetime, all of them with Jerry, and they never did the same show twice.

4-4-0. The San Francisco 49ers defeated the visiting Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Next up: a bye week, followed by a visit to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
2-1. Despite Andrew Wiggins’ 29 points scored, the Golden State Warriors lost the Home Opener to the Los Angeles Clippers. Next up: Chase Center hosts the New Orleans Pelicans on TNT HD on Tuesday. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
