Thst's not true, we looked at the same picture on the same screen in our office and some saw it as blue and black and others as white and gold. So it's not a question of the image being manipulated.

ya its in their text one of their great thinkers wrote about it saying something about how human beings could take the indigo plant and make a darker blue color. Something along those lines...

I'm not vouching for the article's authenticity, either. I mean, BusinessInsider... But in the article it claims that there are cultures even today that have no word for blue.

ah I see even if they dont have a word for it im sure they know its different from what they see like im sure they would say the sky is brown like dirt...

This kinda reminds me of when my latin american studies class was looking at the letters Cortez wrote he said himself that he didnt have the words to explain all the things he saw...

    From the article...

A researcher named Jules Davidoff traveled to Namibia to investigate this, where he conducted an experiment with the Himba tribe, which speaks a language that has no word for blue or distinction between blue and green.

When shown a circle with 11 green squares and one blue, they could not pick out which one was different from the others — or those who could see a difference took much longer and made more mistakes than would make sense to us, who can clearly spot the blue square.

well they're all wrong, its white and gold or blue and absence of colour, i win.

im suprised this is a thing like its a discovery, i say this because you never see football teams play in blue and greem, example: ireland vs italy, one will not wear their home coluors
