They were 10 points off the lead and coasted to end the season. If our new striker could finish we would at worst be 3 points behind. The hilarious part of both of your defense is you are trying to fixate on the exception (which doesn't disprove my point) while ignoring the rule. Every league has literally see the teams that pressed the hardest to end the season, struggle to begin this one. Yet of course like clockwork most of you are carrying a victim mentality so it's only you and only your club
I don't see the victim mentality in my post. I've pretty consistently praised Barcelona for their performances (much as I don't like it, I'm not going to deny my eyes) and consistently said that Madrid's problems are their problems and they have themselves to blame, and that in many ways we've ridden our luck to still even be in the race to begin with (Sociedad hitting the post three times, Celta squandering chances, etc.). Maybe they are the exception to the rule, but from our POV it's a pretty damn unfortunate one, lol.
The only way forward for him is to play closer to goal as a false 10, but the problem is our player profiles are a little bit different this season.
That only shows that he got offensively stuffed. Not that he was back there defending. Lucas won more duels than Bellingham even engaged in. That's why Marca only shows you his passes and not his defensive actions.
Balde had zero tackles, as well as Raphina, Lucas had 3 tackles and two interception, Bellingham 2 tackles and 1 interception, Bellingham simply got stuffed behind the line because that was where Barcelona actually placed Balde. His heat map shows the most action on our side of the field. Bellingham will need to figure out a role on this team that isn't being a CF.
I aint doin deep research for a rando in an internet forum . The main point is that most top teams have had a congested schedule and everyone is dealing with injuries.
If Madrid loses to AC Milan, I think Carlo gets fired. It's a make or break game for him. He needs to win big to get out of this pickle.
Nah, I doubt that. If he loses that and the next La Liga game, then he’ll be under a ton of pressure from the Spanish media, but not necessarily fired imo.
I completely disagree. I think there's a mutual understanding that he's here until the end of the season.
Carlo won’t get fired till the end of season for the respect and for lack of attractive alternatives who can handle this bunch.
Maybe he won't get fired because all titles are still in play and it would be the move of a maniac to do so.
You didn't have to do research I did it for you. The reality is you couldn't respond to the fact your initial "points" were nonsense and only supported by people who are thinking subjectively like victims (you) instead of those looking at the entire picture. Literally every first place team from last season besides PSG isn't first place currently and even PSG has dropped form. Yeah I know I know your brain can't handle that research so kick rocks
So every first placed team last season magically has +10 on fatigue and without fail. Second placers only get +2.
You can basically expand this so broadly: Amount of games. Amount of minute spread across the team and roster size. Amount of travel/movement. Teams like Mallorca have to do so much extra travel for almost every game while teams with more opponents in the region less so. Amount of national team minutes. Average age of roster and general wear and tear. The doing this across multiple teams and leagues. You're basically right in saying it's too much work.
We can. So whos gonna volunteer to compile the stats including per player data? Youngstars sure didnt.
Only shows.. Bro, he was doing a Carvajal. He had more tackles on Balde than Vasquez. Vasquez was usually the last man (uselessly) defending at CB.
Nah Carlo deserves more respect. If we fúck up, he should be let go at the end of the season. Plus, any mid-season BS and Raul is our coach. No.
Because Vazquez kind of had his hands full with Raphinia. Balde had most of his actions inside our own half. They stuffed us with that high defensive line. The fact that Bellingham exclusively passed to his left shows that we didn't have anything going on from that side of the field offensively so Barca could basically focus on turning their left flank to a winger duo. The game doesn't show that Bellingham played RB, the game shows that Bellingham can't play the wide position at all.
Bellingham played behind Vasquez for big chunks of the game. Evidently, Vasquez was nowhere close to Raphinha. Heatmaps illustrate this quite clearly.
Carlo: Start Tchuameni instead of Camavinga Start Modric instead of let him play the last 30 minutes Start Lucas as RB Have no ideas nor method nor solution Every game is a kind of a nightmare with suffer. We have no middle field at all
No Kroos, Benzema, or Cristiano to save him. He's run out of ideas. Honestly, we should let his son takeover until the season is over. Maybe he has better ideas.
