Chicago can't win a game, it seems, but Amarikwa continues to be in fire, so to speak. Seems like every week he is getting a goal or an assist. I may have to go dig up all the posts from people who predicted he'd be well out of the league in 2010. Also interesting that Frank is playing 2 little guy forwards. So much for the idea that he insists on playing big target guys.
Don't think Frank has any big forwards available at the moment. I think he will probably try and sign some , possibly after the WC.
For the Landon fans in This forum: you will enjoy this video of the session he did on the Dan Patrick radio show. I don't know who Dan Patrick is, but he's a pretty tough interviewer with a touch of mirth. http://www.mlssoccer.com/sideline/n...boyz-ii-men-singing-revealed-dan-patrick-show
Watching the Colorado at Seattle match. The rapids play some ugly soccer, lots of tick-a-tack resulting in turnovers. PS: It has become an unwatchable blowout...
And people were trying to say last week Colorado was a good team and we should be proud of our 0-0 draw against them... Hah
Meh, teams have good games and bad games. They've had some good games this year. They are mid-pack team - no real secret about that. What really happened is that the Quakes played them into a funk last week. :--) I'm half serious about that...When you don't win a home game, and don't score, it can set you back a bit.
As we approach the end of League 2 Season Hartlepool just survived relegation from the Football League. Puts things into context complaining about the Quakes Here is the extremely excited audio from the game that secured survival. The back story... We were 1-0 down and down to 10 men at home. https://audioboo.fm/boos/2092802-hartlepool-united-2-morecambe-1 Also a slideshow from the traditional last away game of the season fan fancy dress away to Plymouth (this is the largest distance between to teams in the football league) http://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/new...great-pictures-of-our-proud-poolies-1-6582166 -Richard
Hey I liked Quincy from the 2009 preseason and supported your appreciation of him as well (note, I did not use the phrase "man-crush" ).
It tends to be the folks who like the player that come out and complain when he is traded. But IIRC there were several Q haters who predicted he'd be out of the league in a year or two (at that time, 2009 or 2010)? There are some in that thread, but I'm not going to name names :--). In any case, it seems that Q had more support from the fans here than I remembered.

I don't know if anyone is interested, but all J-League teams are playing today (holiday in Japan). FC Tokyo v. Nagoya Grampus is going to start in a few moments. I'm getting best streaming reception with http://goatd.net/ None of these games, except the one at 7 pm JST is on standard TV.
If the Colorado, Portland and Seattle results as of right now stand, we are in seriously deep trouble.
All right, I know we didn't want Colorado to win, but isn't there something delish about Robbie "Mr Handspring" Keane missing a PK?
Wow, Chicago blew a 2-0 lead at home to lose 3-2 to RSL, 2 goals at >= 90'? Not a good day for the "Yallop coaching tree", including the root. (Though looks like Houston will win.)
