Well in fairness, several Arab-American groups did try to reach out to the Harris campaign and were apparently told to go kick sand. If protest is all you leave a group, that's what they will use.
Some of the choices made in that regard were also weird. Sending Clinton with a scornful message to that constituency to Michigan days before the election was frankly bizarre. Doing nothing would have been better than that.
