He's won the golden ball by this point; how well he ends his Copa America this Sunday I am genuinely excited.
I'm very confident he's going to get a good team in europe from this. He better not mess it up by being a dumb ass again This guy is a freaking moron
Yeah but he's our freaking moron. And I genuinely hope this moviates him to work hard towards the 2026 world cup.
Don't think so.. see Chile, they've played the Copa America from the very beginning. Colombia started taking the Copa seriously after the mid 70's and we see how far we've come if consider that we gotta face and beat teams like Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil to win it.
More so, it's not that we didn't take it seriously until the mid 70s, it's just we were next to last confederation to even participate and didnt really get going until 35 years after the 1st Copa. Same with our professional league. What's most shocking is that in it's 100+ history, we've only hosted the CA once. Argentina 9x, Uruguay 8 x/ Brazil 6x.
Wonder if we will do 2 countries like the WC. That way smaller teams can host. I mean Venezuela .... would make sense if they weren't in such a bad situation. Tho Colombia/Ecuador or Colombia/Peru maybe work. They can host the opening and we host the final. Barranquilla, Cali, Medellin and Bogota. We need to go for it so we can ask for a WC at some point.
