Rumours abound suggesting Jamie Vardy may be on his way to replace Griezmann - looks like a great idea .

Vardy is a speed merchant with pretty good finishing. He might really succeed there with the style of play.

 

His wages are going to be extremely high

 

He's probably on £100k a week right now. Have to think that can be matched by Atleti who will be losing Greizman's.

 

Does Griezmann earn the same amount? I was under the assumption it was a lot less.

 

Potentially, but I'll use Costa as an example. He was on at least £125k while at Chelsea. I have a hard time seeing him on less than 6 figures while at Atleti. I could totally be wrong as I don't have a clear picture of what their pay structure is.

 

Excellent point. I figure for sure Costa is making that $$ and it'd made sense that Griezmann wouldn't be too far off.

 

Kind of my line of thinking. I get their wage structure is probably lower as most are, but they should be in line with most mid table to lower table English clubs I would think. Can't imagine they're lower than say Everton.

They have Greizman on £192k a week. That's really high and just under Hazard who is on £200k a week.

 

That sounds almost impossible to be true

 

They have Koke on similar and Costa on £150k which I thought he was making at Chelsea after an improved deal IIRC.

 

Here's another one saying Greizman is on £200k with Costa on £160k with all others significantly lower.

Looks like they must have drastically raised Grizemann to keep him at the club.

I hope he stays. Become a LEGEND there. They have so much pushing them forward. Hard to dismiss that simply to get more cash at say United.
