Come on you have a thread for Chievo? What about HELLAS VERONA? Chi Noi Siamo? Geielo Diciamo? BRIGATE, BRIGATE GIALLOBLÙ
This is one of the greatest days in my life, ciao Verona Chievo is the only team in Verona. FORZA CHIEVO!!!
Hellas Verona has won promotion to Serie B (joining Juve Stabia) for this upcoming season. Hopefully it won't be long until they are back in the top flight.
??? We didn't play Empoli in Coppa Italia! We played a serie D team in the first round (Sibilla Bacoli, won 3-0) then played away at Cittadella (lost 2-3 at the extra times, I was at that game), now we have the Coppa Italia Serie C, but still don't know the groups... Empoli played Samp and won 2-1, I actually like Empoli because they're one of the very few clubs in Italy that target a lot on young players
Cittadella is what I meant. I like Empoli, too, except for that 1-2 season stretch when they had all those Juve players.
Hallfredson is playing well for them. He was a decent player at Reggina but it seems that here he is making more of an impact. I don't like Mandorlini though. He is a horrible coach, especially when he has coached in the Serie A!
looks like Verona is making good progress they got some crazy fans and hopefully they help get more people into seats!
I went to their stadium in August when I was in Verona. It's a nice stadium and they still have logos from Italia 90! It would be good to see the Verona derby in A. Mind you, it would put two coaches I hate against each other: Di Carlo v Mandorlini.
I concur wholeheartedly! This is fantastic! Extremely tense game right at the end! It is going to be great welcoming them back at the Olimpico! Well for Lazio anyway. Not Roma.
Not sure if that is a good idea considering Cacia scored loads last season although his expierience will come in useful. In better news Verona signed Cirigliano on loan for a nominal fee and have the option to make it permanant. He is one of the better players for River Plate so this is a steal. Hopefully they continue to sign some more quality players. If for nothing else the players can enjoy themselves in one of the best cities in the whole of Italy. Beautiful place.
When Fiorentina got Cacia, even after suffering a horrible knee injury, I was stoked. I really thought he was going to blossom into the "next" Luca Toni. Interesting that they're on the same club now.
