Glad James and Santos Borre are not starting.

Lorenzo came to his senses on those issues at least.

Spain’s B/C team seems to be controlling possession and getting some clear shots on goal.

Spain has a lot of talent. No doubt about it.

we are playing like the kids I would coach.... its like I taught you fkers about formation and not to all chase the ball or being 2 feet from each other..... WTF do you do that the 2nd you start playing against another team

Lerma is so bad when he plays for Colombia in England he is a great box to box player. In Yellow dude can't pass and never helps out in attack. Do something !!!

    Typical play…

    struggle to move forward
    Back pass
    Back pass
    Back pass to GK
    GK clears the ball
    Spain regains possession

Lorenzo isn't a good coach.... like Pekerman being being saved by a Godlike Falcao and James..... Lorenzo gets bailed by Diaz and a solid defense.

All our recent games are the same thing. Hey make Arias/Diaz make 1 v 8 runs with no backup and hope they do something crazy

Take out Carrascal put in Rios, Puerta, Portillo or another CM to get the MF

instead he going to put James for Carrascal and Borre for Cassiera

    rios = telenovela bad boy!

watching us play makes me want FIFA to institute a “backcourt violation” rule for fútbol. No back passes beyond center line

I think we need james given how there's no stability in the middle especially with pressing forward.

Back line is playing better than the Korea match.

I like the way the Black Uniforms look.

The English ref is doing a good job of letting the game flow and not calling too many ticky-tacky fouls.

Those are my positives of the match so far.

    we need a 4-2-2-2 or a 4-3-2-1

our CMs are not good enough at passing to play the way he wants also the #10 we have isn't good enough especially against a top team

We have no MF and are pretty much playing with 4-5 CBs as the 2 DMs dont attack and Mojica isn't going up to attack.

Its Arias and Diaz running 3/4s of the field by themselves to perform a miracle or go up against 7 Spanish players.

Cassiersa has been invisible but really his fault.

You want James to play against a pressing forward?

Honestly I am a huge fan of the black with orange accents style in a lot of things but these still feel like training kits rather than national kits. I don't know I feel like the colors needed something done in terms of style.

    I hear ya.
I just like the look way better than the last couple Copa America road uniforms. Especially the ugly 2019's with the blue shirts and yellow shorts.

I think the direct vertical football is the way to go against Spain. But we do need a centralized creative player to emerge. Should be Carrascal. I'd rather see Yaser over James because I think James is too slow and he's just going to get pressed to death and lose the ball instantly.

Yes, Lorenzo should consider putting in Yaser and telling him to just let it rip and try and shoot like his ex manager at Watford told him to do.
Would add some spice to this match.

You know we aren't threatening when Spain decides to use a sub for their GK.
