1. What Real Madrid players? I get that there are head coaches who have their own biases but your club barely has any player eligible for the Spanish NT, whom do you expect them to call up, Raul Asencio? "Biased against Real Madrid players" as if Luis Enrique didn't have Asensio playing as False 9 in the ********ing World Cup. 3. Even if that's the case the club has an academy. And it's not like the club even tried to sign many of those players.
Are you saying that they sell to the richest league that is the EPL for cheap and to RM they will only sell if like pay double? The last player we bought from La liga was Alvaro Odriozola for 40 mil euros(his release clause) and it was at season 18/19. One year before that we bought Theo Hernández for 24 mil euros from Atletico and Dani Ceballos for 16 mil euros from Betis.

Of course Rafa would be better in the long run. But Im taking about a band aid solution. Even if Asencio turns out to be a decent player (which I am yet to be convinced due to the sample size), the team is still seriously lacking defenders. The advantage of an old vet is that theyl only be on short contracts and could be let go easily and is readily available.
Hummels played CL final few months back and can't get a game with Roma at 35. Father time is undefeated. There's a reason why Ramos doesn't have any club in Europe intersted at those wages. Rafa Marin would be better option now not just in long run because he has the legs to keep up unlike Ramos. Sergio should have gracefully retired when Sevilla didn't want him back.
Roma are on their third coach this year and the club are telling him to stay and work with Ranieri. Ranieri himself said he wonders why a club with defense issues wouldn't at least try to give Hummels more burn, but there are also rumors of personal issues present. For what it's worth Hummels allegedly has multiple offers and asked the club to make a decision. They offered him a lifetime contract. He declined it saying that he didn't return to retire there, but to mend the relationship. Sevilla published this in a statement on their website, and Ramos confirmed it.
Ramos didn't want to take paycut like last season and was critical of Sevilla's league performance. Sevilla didn't want him at bigger wages and no European club offered him either.
Sevilla gave him a lifetime contract and they confirmed that he turned it down. I don't get your point. They had a joint press conference about this. I think he believed he might get interest from the MLS or Saudi, but neither came to fruition. Sevilla clearly wanted to keep him.
I mean he turned money down to join them in the first place, but either way he isn't anywhere near the level needed to play here. Why relive the drama with him when he likely can't justify it with his performances.
Ramos took a 50% paycut from what he earned at PSG to join Sevilla for a year. Sevilla offered the same salary last summer and Ramos didn't want that. That's my point. He overestimated his worth and didn't get the offer he was looking for from any European club.
I have a hard time believing Ramos has absolutely no interest from European clubs. Might not be UCL or even Europa league levels but there are clubs out there for him. Imo, it's probably a money issue. Weren't there rumors he had some bad investments? Then when Real loses a CB money, no longer becomes an issue lol.
I just find it hilarious that people on one side complain we never develop or use our Castilla/Canterano yet every opportunity we can they are talking about bringing in some washed player or some new an expensive one. Not even different than Carlo yet will criticize him lol. How about we give that kid who had a fantastic debut an actual chance? How about the FB that got called up get one as well? Nah, let's just fantasize about some big name player and transfer
