On average, there's going to be at least one opening in every conference. Many will have 2 or 3. Share what you know or just don't post. ps - there was that one recent strange year without a single P5 opening though....
How many times can YSU turn over their coaching staff? It seems like the shelf life in Youngstown is pretty darn short. I was going to ask this about UWGB but it applies to YSU as well - how can one achieve success at either of those institutions? I guess part of it depends on what the definition of success is. I just don't see tham as being places where it's possible to win on a consistent basis.
Not sure if you were referencing the Horizon League opening when you said "Valpo", but they aren't in the Horizon League. I like the answer "keeping people coming back with suspense"...hahah. At least that's honest. I find it funny when other people say "I don't want the players and parents finding out before it's announced".....as though anyone beyond a small handful of people even pay attention to this forum (me being one The Horizon League stinks - look at the RPI's of their member schools.....but the only programs that could justify making a change are Green Bay (done), YSU & Wright State - since Oakland and CSU just recently made the change last year.
Anyone who goes for UWGB will be fired once their contract ends. Tough to win in Green Bay. Look at the history. The only good program in that conference is Milwaukee.
