I never thought I would say this publicly... but look into Pilates, esp. what they call "mat workouts" (i.e. not using those machines. They hit the core really well, and the idea is to stimulate the muscles, not to tear them down. Really helps with my back, too. And it has to be pretty hot for me to break a sweat. I do those on Monday, Wednesdays and Saturdays. I'll see if I can track down that quote where Landon Donovan said that he wishes he started doing Pilates earlier in his career.

Ill sum it up this way (her life is her story so I won't break her anonymity): no matter how long you live in a country you didn't grow up in, there's always nuance and things you don't pick up on that leave you vulnerable to bad actors.
I drank way too much last night, so I pounded about a liter of liquid IV 3 times through the evening. I've been doing OK today.

Mat pilates are great. I went to a daily class. Solved my back pain. I wish the instructor was still at my gym.
I'm up to about a 9. The news from Georgia is pushing me up. If there's not good news from Pennsylvania and Michigan in the next hour or so, I'm gonna be up to 12.
