PBP: 2024 MLS Season PBP Thread Week 27 October 2 - 6 {R}

I am going back to bingewatching the Boys. I can catch the later game. No point in continuing to watch this one.

 

I'm going to watch the Spirit on espn2 for the hilarity of them having 10 players out for injury against a team that doesn't allow goals.

 

Halftime when I realized where this NYC game is obviously happening...

 

At least you guys can watch a crummy game. Apple TV is all messed up for me. It won't get off last night's MLS schedule. I can't watch NYC batter NSH.

 

A team I still forget about thought something happened. It just barely didn't.

Did they say anything about what the event was that put the stadium into a "lockdown" before the game? I saw stuff on social media a few hours ago, but nothing that actually said why.

 

I tuned in after kickoff. No dice! I unplugged my fire stick for a few seconds to see if things would re-set. Again...no dice! Since then, I've tried it periodically with no success.

 

Nashville just missed two open goals from inside the 6 yard box.

 

Looks like a well deserved road win for Nashville. Wait... what?

 

We are one step closer to a weekend with no ties.

No doubt Portland will be the one to let us down

 

I woke up for a really dumb penalty conceded by the Spirit and a NFL sideline fight.

 

NYC can still achieve 4th place.

 

Sometimes naming the teams is a courtesy.

 

A game is happening.

 

That would be enough to clinch a home playoff game for the Rapids, so I would not feel let down
