Thanks for posting that update, also just wanted to see if others are having issues with the autopick system on the MLS fantasy site? I had two DNP players this past week that should have been auto-subbed for two of my bench players (who did play and scored a total of 24 points). That would have made the difference in getting the win this week but instead the autopick didn’t happen, giving me the loss instead. Anyone else having this issue? The fantasy rules say that the league is set up to do autopicks for DNP players from the bench players
Hey Norm, I took a look at your team. It looks to me like your bench points are included in your total. You had 54 points from 8 starters and 24 points from the 2 subs, to get to 78. So, I think you got all your points last week.
Thanks, it looks like the points add up. I’m used to the way the EPL site does the autopicks, where the subbed players are actually placed into the lineup display. But it’s all good now, thanks again
GW15 kicked off today -- after 14 gameweeks, everyone has now played each other twice. With Round 2 of the 2024 season completed, the standings are (W/D/L): Los Pups -- 13-0-1 = 39 pts // 1381 Joga B ----- 10-0-4 = 30 pts // 1331 Top Shelf -- 10-0-4 = 30 pts // 1298 Sasha Jrs --- 9-0-5 = 27 pts // 1272 4 Bananas -- 6-1-7 = 19 pts // 1252 Car Ok FC -- 3-0-11 = 9 pts // 1174 Stormin U --- 2-1-11 = 7 pts // 1202 Mighty Q ----- 2-0-12 = 6 pts // 1200 10 games to play (another full round, and then 3 additional games) in the regular season, and then on to the playoffs.
GW22 kicks off later today -- after 21 gameweeks, everyone has now played each other three times. In round 3, the large lead at the top almost entirely disappeared while Sasha Jrs and Top Shelf have flipped the 3/4 positions. With Round 3 of the 2024 season completed, the standings are (W/D/L): Los Pups -- 17-0-4 = 51 pts // 2240 Joga B ----- 16-0-5 = 48 pts // 2148 Sasha Jrs --- 15-1-5 = 46 pts // 2159 Top Shelf -- 14-0-7 = 42 pts // 2048 4 Bananas -- 10-2-9 = 32 pts // 2045 Car Ok FC -- 5-0-16 = 15 pts // 1301 Stormin U --- 3-1-17 = 10 pts // 1238 Mighty Q ----- 2-0-19 = 6 pts // 1064 Sasha Jrs went 6-1-0 and Joga B went 6-0-1 in this last round. If it's the same as last year, we'll now only play the first three games of round 4 to end the regular season after gw24. It's unclear who has the hardest and easiest schedules over the next 3 gws, but there are enough big matchups that the table may still see a shakeup... And then, it's on to the single elimination knock out round based on final standings after GW24.
The regular season ended with this past weekend's conclusion of GW27. The final round got cut short by one game, as the playoffs have to start. Los Pups had squandered most of a large lead in Round 3, and Sasha Jrs ran the table in Round 4 to race to the top of the final table in one of the tighter finishes we've seen. Final standings are (W/D/L): Sasha Jrs --- 21-1-5 = 64 pts // 2911 (6-0-0) Los Pups -- 21-0-6 = 63 pts // 2896 (4-0-2) Joga B ----- 19-0-8 = 54 pts // 2745 (3-0-3) Top Shelf -- 18-0-9 = 54 pts // 2707 (4-0-2) 4 Bananas -- 14-2-11 = 44 pts // 2666 (4-0-2) Car Ok FC -- 6-0-21 = 18 pts // 1581 (1-0-5) Stormin U --- 4-1-22 = 13 pts // 1646 (1-0-5) Mighty Q ----- 3-0-24 = 9 pts // 1449 (1-0-5) Sasha Jrs also outscored Los Pups by 17 in the last week, to take the overall points total! Each team's record in the final shortened round is shown in parentheses. It's now on to the Quarterfinals: Sasha Juniors vs Mighty Q Los Pups vs Stormin Union Joga B vs Car OK Top Shelf vs 4 Bananas
Heading to the PHI-ATL tomorrow night with my son. The Union needs to win the remaining games to make the playoffs, so the boys in blue will be fired up. And if they do really well tomorrow maybe my son and I will advance in MLS fantasy (I won’t bet money on it, but stranger things have happened). Go the U!
The semifinals are set with games starting on Wednesday. Quarterfinals: Sasha Juniors -- 102 Mighty Q --- 38 Los Pups -- 97 Stormin Union -- 59 Joga B -- 81 Car OK -- 56 Top Shelf -- 89 4 Bananas -- 84 All of the higher seeds won. The 4v5 game was a father-son rematch of last year's final. While the "younger" went on a nice playoff run from the #5 spot to win last year's title, there will be no repeat champion this year with the "older" closing out a tight victory with points from the SEA clean sheet in the final game being the difference. Semis: Sasha Jrs vs Top Shelf Los Pups vs Joga B
