Huh. That’s interesting. Because just a few years back, during the Porter era, I noted that we had quite the spate of injuries during a stretch of the early season, including two injuries that happened in training. I had the gall to question why this was, as such a rash of injuries, especially in training, might have to do with fitness and conditioning. I was flamed for this, and was assured that the injury bug strikes all teams, this was just what happens, and had nothing to do with our conditioning. What a dope I was.
Since we're on the topic of injuries, please be careful to not overextend your elbow reaching to pat yourself on the back.
Meanwhile, due to this conversation I’m sure the team is now cursed and we will see a giant rash of injuries hit
I really miss that old website MLSRumors. It was almost 100% total bullshit but it launched hundreds of fierce, hysterical on line arguments that went on for.dozens of pages. Really entertaining. All it took was some random person, often on BS, to say they heard such and such a player was coming to an MLS team or that one guy was being traded for another or sold to someone else. Absolutely no basis in rational.fact. Never any sources named. Didn't matter. They'd run with it. Your comment about Pulisic would have been top of the page stuff and there'd already be six threads in various places discussing it.
My Applebees waitress whispered into my ear that Josh Sargent is eyeing a move to Columbus. He prefers the beautiful yellow and black color combination sported by the Crew over the hideous yellow and green combination worn by Norwich.
I just think we need Camacho & Ramirez because they are savvy veterans but at those positions if we could find very good young athletic guys to get here this summer and learn the system and increase our depth to protect putting excessive minutes on the older guys while getting them acclimated for a bigger role next year or if called upon by necessity this year. We have to keep improving the roster with quality guys.
Well, that’s certainly interesting if true. I don’t think he’s an EPL player, but I certainly think he could do well here. 12-15ish goal range for a full season.
With the increase in ticket prices for next season we should be able to get Sargent and another piece. Though I still think the most important/pressing area to address is CM.
Taking a victory lap wasn't my point, brother. My point was that I'm honked off that I got blowback for what I was confident was a connection two years ago. And now it's accepted as a valid theory.
Twas a joke, and I agreed with you back then that either the medical or training staff was doing a poor job.
Well, then, I shall wipe the egg off my face and have no beef with your post. Mmmmmmm, beef and eggs……
