I have my FAN status set as England. I applied for this match 48 in both ballots was unsuccessful. My sister to whom my account was linked got 2. I have had Personal Offers for all the England games although some were for Prime seats at Eur 500 each and beyond my budget. I don't seem to get email notifications so just keep checking the App. We have flights booked on Friday and if all else fails will watch at one of the FAN Zones.
My Euros is now over. Attended two games. Denmark vs England and Germany vs Denmark yesterday. Having seen so many great games over the years all over the world I don’t like the direction football is currently going and have gone for a while now so I will just keep watching the league here in Sweden and enjoy our VAR-free but “shit-football” because it’s more genuine than the big leagues today that is ruined with all the money. I don’t have the same love anymore for the game as I used to have and many players I started follow as a young gun has quitted so it’s time to spend money and time elsewhere. I however really enjoyed Germany and had a blast during the euros and want to thank everyone in this thread for great contributions. One of the few things I still had on my bucket list was to see a host team play during a WC or Euros so when I had a chance to see Germany (thank you Fullkrug) I knew I just had to go. Maybe I’ll travel again to see some games in the future, who knows.. but for know I will just take a step back from the sport itself. I hope you all enjoyed your time in Germany and had a great experience there! Joe Hart sat next to me on the ICE train from Berlin to Dortmund-area yesterday. Bet he’s happy now when England scored a latey today. Enjoy some of my photos from the games and until the eventual next time, take care!
The worst Euro ever ! A lot of people want to sell their tickets, other wants to buy, UEFA doesn't give a f*ck!
The euro ist great, the stadiums are full and I`ve never been attending to an cup-comeptition with so many seats filled... Why do you think, there are a lot of people who want to sell thier tickets? I don`t think so
Demand for prime tickets has been very low It’s just the expensive prime tickets that no one really wants, even for the big games. And many were bought by touts so they have been dumped. I went to 5 games and unfortunately I had to buy prime tickets for most and saw them on ticket sites later for a lot less. We all complained about the resale portal being expensive with fifas commission for qatar but it was a better system and allowed me to upgrade (downgrade) my tickets to so many games in Qatar. Shame
The worst Euro regarding ticket selling mangement. In Group E, Belgium fans bought a lot of tickets for match no 43, and now belgium is playing on another game. In the same time, planty of Romanians are looking for tickets on this match. A resale portal would be great to meet de demand of both parties. Otherwise, this Euro is great! I attended 3 matches and it was really nice!
There were more than 1,000 tickets available for resale on ONE platform (ticombo) the day before the England game. There’s more than 500 tickets for the France game as of now b On this forum, touts were trying to unload their tickets probably obtained by bots in the early days of the sale for the SOLE purpose of reselling them. Yes in the end, the stadium looks full but there are still one or two seats empty here and there. To me the main thing is that UEFA failed miserably at selling to the actual fans. I ended up buying on Ticombo for two games, above face value not counting the outrageous 30% service fee. For one like drug users and drug dealers, I wish UEFA would go after and sue the dealer (the third-party platforms). If the likes of Ticombo, StubHub were not allowed to have tickets the touts would not try as hard because then safe options would be very limited.
At one point tickets for the England match dropped to £4 on Ticombo yesterday. Still overpriced given the performance.
Interesting! I recall someone calling him out a couple of months earlier either in this thread or the "looking for tickets" thread.
I don't agree that the Euros are bad or the worst one in years. There have been so many good games and it is very rare that so many groups were almost completely open on the last round. Almost every group had 3 teams trying to get to the knockouts to the very last minutes. Georgia had a blast playing their first Euros and I think that everybody has enjoyed watching Spain this tournament. But it is a fact that UEFA ********ed up the ticket sales from the very beginning. The fact that there is still no resale portal that has been there in previous ones is just a poor decision. Touts had a free playing field during the group stage but I do enjoy that most of them are loosing during the knockouts. Still it is sad that there is even a possibility that one tout can have over 30 FF tickets to one game... All in all there has been a great atmosphere in the stadiums, fanzones and around the cities. Fans have been (mostly) great and there hasn't been any major incidents. Trains are what they are but it is Germany after all Let's have fun for the last two weeks and enjoy the games. Cheers!
Thats no special thing at this Euro. At euro 2020(21), stubhub was full of tickets as well. I guess this might be many Scam-Resellers who can`t get their tickets sold. Under the view to cancel the black-market the plan of the uefa seems to work. I also would prefer a resell-platform, but its not that bad at all. If you want to sell your ticket, its easy to find someone to buy, unless its cat1/prime
I guess this forum is about looking for and buying tickets now! If you don’t know, there are other threads for that. Use them! And here no matter what, it’s face value or under, touts are not welcome!
Going to Düsseldorf now. If you’ve been there for first round, can you please let me know if the shuttle bus from the fan zones to the stadium have their own reserved lane so they won’t be stuck in traffic like everybody else? Thank you
I went to watch two games in Düsseldorf. My group were staying in Dortmund so we caught the train to Düsseldorf HBF and hoped on the train from there to the stadium. We literally only had to wait minutes for the 'shuttle train' to turn up both times, although each time the train was pretty full but to be expected as we we're cutting it fine for KO. There were plenty of 'shuttle trains' running to the stadium and by memory it took about 20 mins to get there (bit fuzzy as it was a boozy week). Sorry, I know you asked about the 'shuttle bus' but I thought I'd share my experience with the 'shuttle train'.
I think location plays a big part in demand for tickets. There was probably low demand for tickets because Gelsenkirchen has poor transport links and accomodation options.
This Euro is superb, also at the same time worried if the prices they kept for this Euro , shouldn’t remain same. Restaurants are completely over expensive that’s not the price what Germany had before Euro competition. They should reduce the price after Euro
I got offered cat 2 tickets for €175 by uefa only to find out that people in the same block got offered fans first tickets for €50 by uefa. They were in the rows behind me and an few rows in front of me. Happy days, glad I didn’t buy them. According to the stadium map the whole block should be cat 2. Anybody else with the same experience?
In Düsseldorf und Cologne the Restaurants cost the same as they cost before the euro? Where have you been? Fist time hearing this
