Does this hint at a deficiency in Fire coaching or is Venezuela’s level of play lower than I think? I doubt that he progressed that much in the 20 matches he has played since he left the Fire.
I think Navarro did pretty okay for the Fire, certainly better than Dean probably had more high-profile errors, but he was overall decent not unlike Calvo
It often happens that there are players whose national team performance is different from their club performance, for better or worse. Navarro is one of them (for better), Gonzalez is another case (for better) and Herrera is another case (for worse)
