If we didn’t have Conte, this wouldn’t be an issue. Selling good players and signing better younger players is what we have always done. Conte is going to demand ready players now. IMO it’s not a given that we will automatically sign Chiesa. And if we don’t get him, expect problems to start early
Conte has worked with younger players. The thing that will be worse for the team is having toxic players who don’t want to be on the team.
