Gratitude post : This is my first WC ever and I can't thank all of the members of this forum enough. Really great insights and genuine help from all members. I just watched 2 QF but I am thankful to God for the dream come true. On a side note I see plenty of fans staying for over a 2/3 weeks or even a month...I wonder what all of you do professionally...(hope I am not offending anyone)...I am just curious to know how they are managing time off......also not sure may be since I do not belong to a major footballing nation I am not aware of the environment of the other side...(pardon my curiosity ) Thank you all for making the WC memorable and kudos to all going in the finals!!! Request : One of my games was in Al Bayt...missed collecting the stadium pin of Al Bayt as it was out of stock....if there are any Indians who will come back to India later...please pick me one...... Cheers Love from India ( Hopefully we would participate in the coming years)
In 2018, I took the 5:30AM high speed train from St. Petersburg to Moscow and went straight to the ticketing counter and stood in the queue. It was a really long day! I got my ticket just before kickoff, probably the last guy to get it. That was France vs Croatia. We are now talking about Argentina!! I would keep my hopes in check. One may have to take a sleeping bag to the ticketing centre - for all you know, some fans are probably doing that already! Some tips based on my experience in 2018: 1. Do it as a large group (as large as possible). You will have a super miserable time doing it alone. 2. Go early, it's never early enough. 3. Each person from the group should take turns to do the errands: take a break, bring food, charge phones/computers, etc. 4. Have access to computer/phone so you continue to try the FIFA portal for sales - keep the devices charged (refer to #3) 5. Keen an eye for ticket sellers who are carting tickets (using bots maybe) and selling on the spot. Carry cash, etc. This is a good place to hunt for tickets if you are looking for less exotic markups. 6. Ticket sales office will accept VISA only. Murphy's law kicked in and my card payment failed when my damn turn came finally. Thankfully I could use my friend's card. The day was full of drama.
Bought a cat 2 ticket for 3rd/4th place playoff ages ago on ticket portal (what else is there to do in Doha?) and guess what? I’ve been allocated another nosebleed seat in a cat 1 area.
I have one last ticket (3 category) for 3rd place match on my Fifa application (non transferable) I can sell whole account (e-mail and password) for face value. Time until 11 PM CET time, after that I put this ticket to resell
I only checked today so not sure when seats were allocated. MOR and CRO will want to win this more than old style established football nations. Should be good atmosphere. Better than Avatar 2!
Yep. But nothing for M64 (was briefly booted out but got back in fairly quick so I may have missed a drop in those 4-5 mins).
Ya… Tried to cart that sucker but of course no dice. Based on the drop for M63 tonight I guess the FCFS drop, if there’s one, would come tomorrow night.
Nice on the M63 alert. Yeah confirmed I also didn't see anything on M64, so my guess would be that is tomorrow around this time. They've been fairly consistent around timing. Here's hoping it's a decent drop
The OV CAT1 are all right next to the VVIP section, and probably just obstructed by the photographers and/or benches. Wouldn't be too bad at all. They definitely priced this match very strangely though.
I don’t think there will be no. I mean, I don’t know for sure. But the pattern has consistently been a FCFS drop between 10 pm to about 11 pm and then during the day of the game. For resale drops it’s roughly between 11 am to noon, though can be earlier at times. But it’s hard to see a major resale drop for M64 tomorrow without having had a FCFS drop. Can’t believe you’ve been at it that long! Really hope you get your prize.
Folks, Morocco - Croatia tickets available on FIFA fcfs site. Still looking for a Final ticket to complete 56 matches in Qatar in this my 10th World Cup. If you can help please get in touch. Pat WhatsApp +353 87 34 86 155
Anu suggestions on how to buy on the site? I've had no luck at all since I've arrived week 2 in qatar
How many times did you see an entire match without leaving early or showing up late due to travel circumstances?
40 years of WC attendance means you’re likely 60+ years of age. Respect to you and all that planning and walking they made you do..
