Tough one. If Croatia win then you get your ticket but the team with the highest demand would be eliminated. A France Croatia final would not be the highest demand i suppose. Morocco maybe different

 

France Croacia would see below fifa price sales outside the stadium. That’s what happened in Russia and there is no one left here to buy.

 

Is the FIFA ticket portal down? I keep getting "403 Forbidden" when I try to log in. I disabled cookies and no difference.

 

My morrocan relatives have been waiting to get their haya approved. Can anyone send through a valid ticket number so they can speed up the process?

 

Like fifa selling them, themselves at the stadium?

 

Moscow had a ticketing centre near the stadium issuing tickets on the day of the final. They issued tickets almost till the kickoff time. Will there be any such facility in Doha?

What's the best way to track FCFS drops?

 

Refresh M61 all day but still cannot cart any single ticket. Is it because of bots or is FIFA playing game with us?

There were match t-shirts and scarves for the group stage, but I don't think I've seen any official merch for knockout matches except for a large gold pin for the final. There have been people selling bootleg scarves outside.

 

Such ugly scenes prior to the Morocco Portugal game, masses of people pushing in and jumping barriers, storming security without a ticket, fans pushing over women and families and others who had been waiting in line to enter the stadium.

It was easily the most hyped game of the world cup, but the whole experience just tainted the moment for me and left a sour taste in my mouth.

I manged to enter around 5 minutes after kick off but others weren't so lucky and missed most of the first half of what was supposed to be one of the country's crowning moments and football history. Such a shame.

 

Yep. I was there. I got there 1hr before the match and still had to deal with crowd pushing and violence towards cops. I got delayed by 20 minutes. People in my section were still arriving at the end of 1st half. It will probably happen again on Wednesday.

 

Because FCFS for M62 should be released today between 10pm and midnight Doha time, same happened yesterday for M61, but now morrocan's are getting ready for the drop.

 

I returned to the USA yesterday. I'll write a longer post tomorrow on my experiences after attending 21 matches but a few quick notes for anyone still in Doha since I've been PM'd with a few questions and thought others might be interested in this information:

1. Argentina pre-match party is at Hilton Pearl tonight (attached). This is where I saw Maxi Rodriguez last Thursday. I would estimate 10% of people in Argentina jerseys, most were dressed for regular night out
2. Budweiser Quarterfinal souvenir cups were at 900 Park on Friday (attached). Not sure if they will for the semifinals or final. It was 100 QAR to enter and during Group Stage it included 2 drinks, for QF included 1 drink, but not sure if that is for everyone or was special deal for Movimento Verde Amarelo Brazilian supporters
3. For souvenir shopping you can enter the gift shops at National Qatar Museum & Islamic Art without buying a ticket. Selection is okay. I went to both as a fellow Chicago BS member asked if I could pick up souvenirs they had forgotten to purchase and I found both items this forum member was looking for at these locations
4. If you are going to M62 definitely get to the stadium at least 90 minutes prior to the match. Even 5 minutes after kickoff there were easily 30% empty seats for M60 (attached) and didn't fill in until halftime.

I'll be curious to see the FCFS drop for M62. For Morocco QF's game I don't recall seeing any drop for FCFS, maybe 'cause all available tickets were soaked up by Morocco's federation, officials and sponsors.

 

Yeah. The worst was seeing some really terrified kids and their parents holding onto them so tight. A WC experience shouldn't be like that for anybody, let alone kids. Wonder how they'll control the vast open access at Al Bayt because it's obvious to me the police have no idea of how to manage crowds. I know it's been said before, but can't stress this enough: Get there early for SF. It's a long way to Al Bayt so plan in advance.

 

I was kick out from the queue on FCFS, I think a drop is around the corner..
