Okay as most of you know.. or should know, South Sudan will be the worlds newest country with oil rich Juba as the capital... question now is.. How do you start your own league and how do you start you own NT... I assume they must build stadiums and facilities first and work from there right? any sudanese players that yall know will be able to represent South Sudan if this comes to fruitition?
They've got far bigger worries at the moment than football...I'd say it could 5-10 years before they play any competitive matches.
Juba stadium hosted CECAFA youth tournament . I believe they already got a local league. Im sure they will be ready for 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
What colour kit will they wear? Yeah the region is oil rich, i think investment in a football league will come from somewhere. As the post above said they will most prob be ready for 2018 world cup qualifiers.
http://www.cafonline.com/competitio...otball-has-come-of-age-o-hayatou-blatter.html CAF is already talking about sending delegates there to assess the situation. We might see them in 2014, in the qualification rounds for CAN 2015. They might even join CECAFA before that.
They seem to have some players on the San Diego Flash soccer club of the NPSL. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Diego_Flash

Southern Sudan's Skipper James Moga signs for Indian I-League Club SC Goa. PANAJI: Promoted to the I-League this season, Sporting Clube de Goa has strengthened their squad by signing up Sudanese striker James Moga for the upcoming year. Sporting Clube de Goa chief executive officer Victor Fernandes confirmed a deal with James. "Papers for his visa have been processed and he should arrive here anytime after South Sudan's World Cup qualifier against Kenya later this week," Fernandes said. Moga will be the third foreign player to sign for Sporting after Kayne Vincent of Churchill Brothers. The Goa-based club has retained Guinea defender Keita Bouhacar for another season after an impressive showing in the second division I-league. Moga, who has made 28 appearances for Sudan, will have the honour of leading South Sudan, Africa's newest country that will celebrate its formal birth on July 9 after they were declared the world's newest country tomorrow after fighting one of Africa's bloodiest battles with their Northern counterparts. James, who started his career with FC Al-Hilal in Sudan, and is presently playing for Muktijoddha Sangsad of Bangladesh, has finished as the highest scorer in the Bangladesh league. The striker has also donned colours for FC Bani Yas (Abu Dhabi), FC Al-Oruba( Yemen), FC Al-Rams Ras Alkaimah in UAE and FC Al-Merreikh Omdurman in Sudan.
