They are garbage. I'm tired of pretending they are human. We aren't going to sneak into the WH. Mrs. Harris will win or lose based on what we already know about her and about conservatism. They already know we think they're garbage.

With 6 days until Election Day, I'm a 9 out of 10 on the Doom Scale.

And, yeah, this scale may actually go to 11 before this is over.

And , of course, they think we're garbage, with all these not White people supporting a not White candidate.

There's nothing to be lost by speaking the truth.

We hate roaches and speak openly about that. Why can't we do the same where conservatives, libertarians and centrists are concerned?

    It's a classic Michael Kinsley gaffe: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Kinsley_gaffe

"A mistake whereby a politician inadvertently says something truthful which they had not meant to reveal."

I just know it's going to take over everything, decimate Harris's closing message, demoralize her supporters, and motivate Trump's. It's the "deplorables" again which was just another iteration of they're "bitter" and "cling to god and guns". I've seen this script before. It's mana from heaven for Trump and his people. What a fcuking stupid thing to have said!

Because we want to win an election. Right now there are some people who are being reminded right before they vote what those bigots are like. We want the spotlight focused on their vile racism, misogyny, homophobia, anti-Semitism, etc. We don't need Biden stealing the spotlight right now and giving those people the "both sides do it" out that they so frequently use.

And the timing was atrocious, given today was her "closing argument". Now, all focus will be on Biden instead of Harris's closing argument. Self-inflicted wound.

Especially as one of her main pushes is to move beyond the divisive rhetoric. Instead, Biden just bulldozed her message.

It occurs to me this brief discussion between auria, you and I could be the start of a future joke for the orange Hitler-loving felon and his supporters: "A Jew (they'd use the k-word), a black guy (they'd use the n-word) and a gay guy (they'd use the f-word) walk into a bar only to find out it was a paddy wagon heading to a "deportation" camp". I'm sure that would get them in good spirits at the next Trump rally.

My guess is Trump is charging $20 a pop for those -- so it's at least a thousand bucks worth of cardboard up there, LOL

This is what pisses me off that (the royal) we have to be held accountable to a different standard. Van Jones was right (broken clocks and all). Trump gets to be lawless and VP Harris has to be flawless.

Trump calls people derogatory names so often that people don't even comment on it anymore. Biden, who is not even running, says "garbage" and FOX News commentators have an orgasm.

EDIT - Kamala’s best bet is to use Biden’s comment to DISTANCE herself from him in the last few days. At this point, she needs to stop worrying about his feelings and throw him under the bus. It’s about more than egos at this point.

With 3 days to go, I'm feeling bit less doomy. I'll give it a 7 out of 10 again.

I think it's a typo. He meant to put a "1" in front of the "7."

Seven is still pretty high on the doom scale.

And there's always tomorrow ... and tomorrow is generally worse than today.

Is the doom scale linear or logarithmic?

Now that's more like it
