You did well to even pay that nonsense any attention.

If Cristiano were born in Madrid the same people would be discrediting his career due to his teams superiority over different timespans... and that is without needing competitions to be created and manipulated to ensure final appearances.

    Yes sir. Family is everything

The pushing and shoving was annoying but I typically win those pushing and shoving situations with most soccer fans lol. It was just annoying that Colombian fans acted like this

I am in a minor way glad we lost. Those fans did not deserve to win

Do you understand that your opinion is not always the subjective and godly truth that should be obvious and respected by everyone? And I'm actually mostly agreeing with what you're posting generally. Like 90% of what you're saying I don't disagree. But your attitude has been like that for a while now and I find it strange. Chill. People see things different than you and that doesn't mean they are hypocrites, babies or just plain wrong. Anyways I know this will not change anything but I wanted to share it.

It’s just one of those things that is completely subjective if I’m being honest. We can talk here all day about what Cristiano would’ve done in Argentina or if Messi would’ve won anything with Portugal. I don’t pay any mind to who the “best” is because it really depends who you’re asking.

I think she was wearing a shirt of an Argentine club team, it was just a really bad choice of shirt for the occasion.

I'm not even speaking of the best, I'm speaking of the hypocrisy. With one it is one way and they defend it, however with another they refuse the same.

    No consistency

It really sucks because even some of my coworkers who barely watch any soccer brought up the incident. Some even asked me if it's usual for soccer fans to behave this way. I said it's not frequent but there are bad mobs everywhere.

Unfortunately the incident mostly made colombian fans look like unruly hooligans. It doesn't help about the incidents against the Uruguay fans either.

I loved when I was in sales and I would meet people from Argentina with German last names

I’d smile and think. Oooh I know the sins of your fathers :ROFLMAO:

To be fair it wasn’t just Argentina pretty sure they were all over South America especially Chile. Chile had quite a few of those nazi youth camps disguised under those german settlements. South American countries were highly sympathetic to the nazi movement at the time if I recall correctly. Dumbest shit ever.

Not sure how that relates to this. Most of these players are of Spanish or Italian descent AFAIK.

By that standard, what does that do for Kroos and Germany and those that supported them here this summer?

Does that make everybody that rooted for them this summer here a nazi sympathizer?

CL final against Liverpool as well. @J-Mezzy had to fight for his seat at the Inter - City final, it's become a tradition.

This is a very uncivilized sport. If there's one thing I agree with @hector_br it's that football probably has the worst people in society out of all sports.

Nazis escaped post Hitler Germany fearing judicial prosecution. Not just South American countries, US accepted "highly educated" Nazis too.

Operation Paperclip was a secret United States intelligence program in which more than 1,600 German scientists, engineers, and technicians were taken from former Nazi Germany to the U.S. for government employment after the end of World War II in Europe, between 1945–59. Some were former members and leaders of the Nazi Party.

We got history class alright, but saying you don't like Argentina because that's where the Nazis fled towards but have no problem with supporting Germany considering that's where they came from is pretty damn weird.

With the Copa wrapped up and this taking a turn towards the usual, the focus shifts to club football.

It was a blast even with a serious lack of sleep during the tournament to watch it.
