Because there is no way to prevent it, what is a referee going to do if 4 or 5 players surround him, yellow card everybody? As others have said, one team is going to get blasted with 3 yellow cards, then the same day another will do it and it will go unchecked and it will be all "omg, Madrid/Barca with the referee help". I honestly never found the crowding to be an issue, it's up to the referee to establish boundaries, if the players surround you, just play on and see them hurry to get back into position. If the referees are wet towels and need rules to get players to respect them, maybe we should hire them security to escort them around the field.

They have good wingers already. Always lacked a good scorer. Meh, I find the crowding and b!tching to the ref to be a waste of time and energy. I pay for/tune in to watch players PLAY, not all the other shyte. I favor booking all players, whether on my team or not, for crowding the ref. But then, I also favor booking players for dives and for injury simulation, and for the whole "grabbing your face and falling to the ground" even when no contact was made anywhere near the player's head bullshyte, and kicking the ball away well after the whistle has gone. Use VAR to retroactively book divers/simulators/anyone who opens their pieholes to the refs. At the end of the day, we all enjoy the PLAY of the game, not all the accessory bullshyte. That said, yeah, it'll he difficult to book players for crowding the ref, and if one team does not get booked for this, other fans will b!tch and moan. Doesn't mean the attempt shouldn't be made. (Shrugs)

Interesting about Chelsea because rumors are they are also in advanced talks to buy Jhon Duran from Aston Villa. So I don’t know what their transfer policy is? Keep buying hip players for 50 mill or higher until one pans out?
Guardian says Chelsea not keen to pay 50 M after hearing there were concerns at Villa about his attitude.
Yeah I think the tag of 50 is too high. He great physical attributes and is a real 9. He has massive potential. But $50 million is a lot to pay for just potential for a player that has had attitude issues everywhere he’s been
Atlético apparently thinks Samu will be worth his 80 ME buyout clause in couple of years. They rejected offers upto 50 M. I reckon Chelsea will end up paying 50 ME for Duran.
Kid is good man, especially since 9s are rare now. I just don’t know why Chelsea want a young unproven 9. Don’t they have one of those already in Jackson?

This guy is talking all smooth and clever but the truth is in the pudding. Plenty have talked the talk before. Football is a crazy sport full of crazy people. It's closer to pro wrestling than the stock market or retail business. Good luck.
Mallorca really want to sign Borussia Dortmund’s 35 year old centre back Mats Hummels and have contacted his representatives. ✍️🇩🇪Talks are in the early stages and Mallorca are preparing a contract offer of around €3 million gross per season.💰[@berger_pj , @Sky_Marlon89] pic.twitter.com/GfGMRKzxOi— LaLigaExtra (@LaLigaExtra) June 20, 2024 For Mats Hummels playing in La Liga interests him especially since he already has a house there on the island. 🇪🇸Money is playing a secondary role in his decision, rather quality of life and sporting appeal is more important for him at this stage in his career.[@berger_pj] pic.twitter.com/uOGS5sNG6F— LaLigaExtra (@LaLigaExtra) June 20, 2024
