As a neutral NBA fan Rooting for the Celtics is gross Kyrie is a nutter Don't mind the Pacers winning, but I don't think they are capable, it took them 7 to beat the decaying remains of the Knicks So yeah, go Wolves
ANT reminds me a lot of Saka. Both are elite at very young ages and almost universally liked and respected by teammates and competitors alike. Both play their games with a level of joy rarely seen amongst peers and predecessors. ANT's trash-talk with a smile on his face is next-level though.
As an American I wouldn't even dignify it with the term "public information"; it would assume some level of credibility. The news media in these parts have very little of that these days.
That was quick 🚨🔵 BREAKING: Mauricio Pochettino and Chelsea part ways with immediate effect.Chelsea and Pochettino have already agreed on terms, as @Matt_Law_DT reports.↪️ #CFC will consider a young manager as priority to replace Pochettino. pic.twitter.com/MSiQv4p74e— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) May 21, 2024
Wow. Sure it didn’t go well for Poch there. That’s an understatement. But even Roman might’ve given him a bit more leash, no? Bohly must have someone up his sleeve. Though his football signings track record (players and managers) isn’t exactly stellar. Long may their dysfunction continue!
The manager market is so bad that Bayern are seriously considering the manager of a relegated EPL team. Who could Chelsea possibly get? Are they just gonna go full Brighton yet again and get De Zerbi?
Usually age is when they say "young manager". But depends on the article. I have seen 52 described as a young manager.
Manager salaries factor into PSR/FFP. Young manager sounds better to the fanbase than cheap manager. I think that might be what is happening, guess we will find out.
Expecting Leverkusen v. Atalanta to be decent. Happened to take the day off of work to go golfing, so I'm glad I'll be able to see this one.
Well, Atalanta with a goal 12 minutes in. Should be a an entertaining match, although I feel like I could just watch the last five and see Leverkusen score a few goals like they always do.
Just tuned in a few mins ago to see Atalanta on P+, or perhaps it's really P+ on Atalanta. First I saw the 2-0 score, then I saw who was in the lead. My surprise that Leverkusen were on the short end, quickly changed to thoughts that this team has been the masters of coming from behind, and late. However this is a final so that's a bit different. And if they go down 3-0 then that's perhaps a bridge too far.
Wow. 3-0. Hattrick for Lookman. Has he been that good this season up until now? Who cares, he'll remember this night for the rest of his life. It might just be the highlight of his life.
All three of their starting front line have been great this season. Stats across all competitions: Lookman - 15 goals & 8 assists Scamacca - 18 goals & 8 assists De Ketelaere - 14 goals & 9 assists
