Anyone know anything about the Mizuno Morelia Elite? https://www.prodirectsoccer.com/p/m...fg-black-black-firm-ground-mens-boots-222592/ They look quite nice - I'm guessing they are a top end Made in Indonesia model? The reason I ask is I've got 2 pairs of Morelias: 1) SG MIJ 2) FG MII and I've realised that the fit on the Indonesian FGs isn't quite right for me - perhaps just slightly shorter (and defo narrower) in the toebox compared to the MIJs. I always knew the toebox was slightly narrower, but for some reason its taken me ages to notice the subtle length difference. Anyway, wondering whether to take a punt on these Elites.
try searching for Mizuno Morelia TF or AS, usually in Korean & Japanese market, you can find some on ebay too, they are kangaroo leather forefoot and calf leather the rest.. here are some codes: Q1GB160001 12KT97201 Q1GB200125
Yep, common thing. The back of the boot is so hard compared to Neo II. One guy even made a video about that topic
Interesting. I own the Neo 2's, and have had no issues with them, but then bought the Rebula 2's, which absolutely destroyed my heels (see pics). Afraid the the heel counter being extremely rigid without enough padding will cause this issue.
The rebula 2 just weren't that great boots. I have a pair and they gave me blisters too. Much to my surprise since I never had problems with Mizuno boots.
Just curious if the reasons for the heel blisters are the same: heel counter. nonetheless, opted for the Adidas X Ghosted.1 and May revisit the Neo 3 Betas next year. Still thoroughly enjoying the Neo 2’s.
Yeah most likely the heel cup and how low the fit of the boot is. No problems with the Rebula 3 or Rebula Cup. Neo 3 Betas are great too!
Hey guys. I have the white cross stitched MII turf model, really enjoy them and recomend them highly. I want to buy the similar Cross stiched MIJ fg verison but I am unsure about the sizings with the new last. The gajin blogger mentions their is a length increase whereas pictures from japanese sites seem to tell me that they are the same length as the 2015 and that the laces bit is shorter giving the forefoot the illusion that the boot is longer. Can anyone tell me what the insole length of their new 2020 morelias against the japanese sizing label? I would really apriecated it as I cant afford to buy two boots to compare sizes. What is also strange is that my turf morelias are a size 28 but the insole length seems to be 28.5! They fit okay for me with thicker socks but can't help but wonder if I should go down a size again!
Hey man, thanks for reading my blog. I went ahead and measured the insoles on my Morelia and in my size 26 the insole measured at a 26.3cm. So they run a little bit longer than the previous model. Hope that helps!
Hey everyone, It’s been a long time since I visited this board or even posted here. Needing advice as I’m looking at getting a pair of the Morelia Neo 3 Beta Elites but unsure of what size I should get. The only pair of Mizuno’s I’ve had in the past were the original Morelia Neo’s that were made in Indonesia and those were a size 9 and fit perfectly. I also wear size 9’s across the board in all Nike shoes and boots in general. From what I’ve read, it sounds like I would have to go down a half size in either the MIJ or MII models? Looking forward to hearing your replies and advice! Thanks, all!
excerpt from enjoyz review: <https://m.enjoyz.com/show-101-5-25826.html> i google translate into below: "First determine the size, this is the issue that everyone cares about most. Mizuno uses upgraded shoe lasts on Neo III, which has better forefoot tolerance, but combined with the ductility of the leather, it becomes a challenge for thin and normal EZers, especially the Nissan version. I feel more and more that the fore palm wraps down. However, in the recent testing of Neo III β Elite, this situation did not happen. First of all, the size is still very correct, you can still choose the normal size, and the skinny EZer does not need to choose the smaller half size like the Nissan Neo III. The reason? The first point should be that the upper kangaroo leather is indeed not as soft as Nissan, and there will still be a more obvious wrapping and squeezing feeling when you first put it on the foot. The second point is that the beta version uses an integrated knitted tongue structure, and the whole sneaker has a strong sense of unity behind the feet, especially the middle of the feet. The third point is also the reason for the β Mesh material of the shoe body. Compared with the Neo III Nissan version of the BF Leather artificial leather, it is more stiff. The comfort is indeed not as good as the Nissan Neo III, but it is excellent in support. The cooperation of these parts makes the editor feel that Neo III β Elite is more compact when first getting on the feet, instead of the extremely comfortable feeling of Neo III Nissan. hope it helps
Interresting, thanks! The old MIJ Morelias fitted me perfectly so I thought it was the end of the line for me and Morelias when I heard the sizing had changed..... but 3mm is nearly half a size in UK or US sizing, so maybe I'd be safe to go down half a size from 27 to 26.5 (or 26.8 ) How have you found playing in the new sizing?
Hi guys I'm selling Rebula V1 MIJ in size 255/UK6.5/US7.5. they are brand new and didn't fit me so am selling. Anyone interested can message me. Anyway, love the Mizuno community here! Cheers!
That looks like the Morelia ULs, if so I'm really excited, one of my all time favorite boots. Can anyone confirm?
Ah, shame about them being limited. It wouldn't surprise me if they get released in another colourway later on then. At least I hope so, I couldn't see myself wearing gold boots...
