To help eliminate Honduras and get Canada in the hex instead.

A bit under the radar but Costa Rica still leads Panama 1-0 a few minutes into the 2nd half. Unless Panama has a couple road goals in them, Costa Rica in San Jose will be our second game

 

Honduras time wasting the entire first half. 3 "injuries" so far....

 

That's a L. We're not beating them in San Jose any time soon. No one in CONCACAF is.

They may let Panama tie this one but only because a tie changes nothing. They'd win the group the same.

 

You're probably right, that's a brutal way to open a hex. If we get 4 points in those first 2, we might aswell start celebrating

Yes, but I also remember that Canada has a way of bringing us down to their level and getting draws out of us. I guess I'd still rather them than Hondo though.

 

Playing Canada is like shadow boxing. They're basically a weaker version of ourselves.

I'm solidly in the camp of rooting for Mexico tonight. I can't help but root for our MLS brethren to the north to get back to the hex.
