    any opinion on Ewerton the former striker of yours?

    I read he's interesting Newcastle United who are in need of a striker until the end of the season. As he's free it's possible to sign him outside of the window.

    I remember him all those years at Dortmund and Zaragoza where he had quite a bit of pace....has he lost it? Could he do a job in the EPL short term at least? Newcastle shot themselves in the foot recently leaving them with not much options but freebies! :rolleyes:

    Just saw the highlights. I think it's clear the make shift defense was terrible. Once again injuries already screwed up an already average group of players. But I think as bad as the team is, yesterday was an aberration. From the first own goal to the incredibly perfect free kick at 2 x 3 that essentially killed the game. I think had we gone at HT at 2 x 3, we'd have a chance of at least tying the game. It looks like the FK goal really affected the team psychologically.

    Eu ficaria surpreso se o Palmeiras caisse para a terceira divisao. No pior das hipoteses, o que ja seria bem ruim, e' que ele nao consiga subir para a Serie A e continue na Segundona. Mesmo com a derrota de ontem, o Palmeiras ainda esta na zona de classificacao para a segunda fase do Paulistao.

    agree. it was an atypical day. 8 games unbeaten, including the draws against burglars, mermaid and bambis. we played better than them.


    não exagere. pode até não voltar para a primeira, mas cair de novo é impossível, mesmo com esse time.
