With all the crappy Columbus-vs-PSV news I think we need to stop and appreciate this moment as yet another positive for the league and soccer in the US. Yes it's a flawed/handicapped design but it has been well executed and should prove a decidedly better setting and money maker for DCU than the aging RFK. Given the renaissance under way in that part of DC it will give the team more exposure and hopefully ever growing support.

Better still, hopefully the support grows strong enough they can someday come back and take the design to a higher, more refined level.

Apparently Manny Lagos doesn't read Doyle and / or Warshaw...

Or he DOES and basically said, "Oh yeah? I'll show you guys! Hey, Doc! Let's sign this guy as a DP!"

It's nice that DC United is finally getting a stadium, but it's concerning that management seems to have seriously antagonized some of its supporters in the process.

It seems that Hauptman has sold 49% stake of Chicago Fire.

It would have been nicer if someone else had bought the other 1.1%.

This is the last thing the ATL youth players need is another foreign player because someone gets their green card.

Hopefully they are working on the sale of the other 51% and it's not just section rejoicing.
