Would be a good idea, not only for us gringos, but for children of immigrants who have grown up in USA and are more comfortable with English over Spanish.

First they "temporarily" take away Pro/Rel and now they announce a partnership with MLS.

    Wild times in Liga MX.

This won't be a normal all-star game if you ask me. Usually it's a different game, more of an exhibition to put on a show. I have a feeling this will be more of a grudge match between leagues. I think where MLS does compete with Liga MX is with players at the top of the pay scale and this game could be more than competitive.

Not only that, but rumors are coming out today that Liga MX is ditching the split season and going back to the long season format.

I heard Liga MX is going to use a countdown clock and use a shootout to decide draws.

An old-school highlight here. To celebrate Niki Jackson scoring the 900th goal in team history on Saturday the Rapids posted the footage of tje 1st goal, scored by Marcelo Balboa:

Yup. Trying my hand at multiple articles per week. Had field player notes. Forgot to add Howard.

First off, I like this and hope it stays at this and the super liga is not brought back. CCL should be the focus and not another league with just the 2.
Anyway, with this new game the liga mx champ will be only 2 months off their championship and mls champ will be 9 months off theirs. A whole heck of a lot can change in 9 months. This is the only negative from an MLS standpoint I see.

It's a useless friendly. I just watched the real Campeones Cup. It was contested between Toronto FC and Tigres UANL within the context of the CONCACAF Champions League.
