Its almost like getting 6's in Kicker correlated with Bobby Wood's poor play!
That ship has pretty much sailed at this point. He just needs to focus on being useful.
Kicker ratings are not the most accurate. And, anyone know the criteria they use? Didn’t think so.
Agreed. The "fairly effective machine" has definitely sailed, as has "the attack" for that matter, since they threw in the tuchel.
Not that either has much to do with CP.
DS: hello is Christian Pulisic available?
Receptionist : one second , may I ask whose calling.
DS: David Sarachan
Receptionist:I'm sorry sir, he's never heard of a David Sarachan.
He is done for the season.
Things have been quiet. Most rumors circling around ?who will be the next manager"?
Yeah, I saw. That sucks. It did not look bad to me live, but obviously it was. Hate to see that.
Right now Marco Rose of RB Salzburg is being rumored
Replay showed Stambouli? Slid trapping Bats ankle between is abdomen and the ground, and turning it the wrong direction. Looked like a broken ankle on replay.
You know it's serious when a player hold his knee/ankle, while his fist pounding the ground relentlessly.
CP is best served by ignoring the NAT for now. Used those times to recoup, mentally and physically.
Nothing worth playing for right now with the NAT.
I don't mind the ratings. He was poor. Moreover, Kicker is a top publication in Germany, and he needs to live with the pressure. I would rather they be hard on him, he is a teenager playing for a huge club. They could turn around and buy a similar player with more experience and have a more effective player in his position.
Somehow, I doubt that.
Their recent buys have been mediocre, average at best.
Keep Stöger, he'll keep BvB safe from relegation.
Klopp and Tuechel would have done wonders with those "buys". We just need a manager that inspires as much as he understands tactics.
The only thing in your post that is accurate is that Kicker is a top publication. The rest is wide open to disagreement . Do you agree with Kicker that Pulisic was as bad as Shmelzer ?
Squawka had CP and Schmelzer as equally bad, FWIW.
Their rating sytem is about as arbitrary as a blind dyslexic players point score in scramble.
Then why do people post them when they're good?
Because they can
Looks like they have Pulisic far superior in the first half, then dipping to be equally bad in the second half only?
That is their cumulative performance score so they both wound up about the same in the end. FWIW...
They sure can.
"Look, these people whose opinions we are exasperated by much of the time gave our guy a good score today!"
I'm surprised people are taking the time to critique CP's play under Stoger.
At some point during each match the team wakes up, remembers to play football, ignores stoger and some things happen, then the stoger tranquilizer takes effect again.
Stoger is a soccer lobotomy.
