Really a weird time for the game. 7am over here on the east coast. Not the normal 7:30am start.

This is the last one before (yet another, useless) international break, yeah? Let's trot out the lineup that's worked so far this season and get some level of confidence back. Please.

I'm ready to throw in Keita and Fabinho here, and I suppose Henderson too - though that may be too many players that are rusty to start one game.

I hope Klopp thinks because this is Fulham, another easy team. He'll mess with the symmetry of the team again. Players like the so called fab 3 are great together. The Fab 2+1 not so much. Same as the midfield. Too much tinkering messes with the ballance. Yeah I know they can't play every game

Fulham have won once and drawn twice in their first eleven matches...

They “shouldn’t” be a problem for a top team.

Time to get the machine rockin’ again!

    So, you're predicting a draw. :)
I'm not as confident as you at the moment.

we need this to be a statement win.

score early and often. 4 goals at least. no effing about. high press, energy, fight like it's a cup final.

Shaq HAS to start the game.

I'm seeing reports that Gomez is injured and may not be available for Fulham. same for TAA.

good thing Clyne is still around ..... OR .... how about putting Fab in there? he plays RB for Brazil. could give him minutes to continue settling in. as I'm typing that I'm changing my mind - too much tinkering. Clyne is a solid RB, not as good coming forward as the others but rarely lets you down defensively.

Just what I was planning to say. We've had sufficient rest following the difficult trip to Serbia. We're mostly healthy. We are coming off what was far and away our worst performance of the season. Fulham is terrible. We *need* to make a statement ahead of the international break.

interesting - we had planned to rest gomez due to a small injury in Belrade - but the crap performance necessitated putting him in.

Lovren and VvD. Clyne at RB and Robertson at LB - for me at least.

Surely Klopp is mistaken. Clearly they are both injured after this game, therefore can't be sent to London for more meaningless games.

good point. TAA for certain is burned out - mentally I mean - which isn't surprising given the last 18 months he's had.

he's not going to see much/any playing time with England (Tripper and Walker ahead of him) so leave him out England.

Belgrade was abysmal but hopefully a lesson has been learned. Don't ever flipping take an opponent a granted again.I hope Klopp has had a word with that picture at Anfield because I hear tell that Shankly learned a lesson after being schooled by RSB back in the day and laid the groundwork for all that latter success.

The only competitive game is Sunday, so they'll have the whole week before the next game. Considering Hendo has been injured and TAA out of form, unlikely either get a game. If Gomez is carrying something as well, I doubt he'd be pushed either. Let Walker and Stones play these games.

OK - if that's the case, why have them travel? it's not just the physical demands I'm concerned about. players need a mental break now and then from team talks, tactical discussions, adapting to different playing styles etc. I'd much prefer to give them a week away from the game (with a training regime to follow of course :) )

Breaks are good, but unfortunately its the price to pay if you want the best players. They boys probably enjoy getting to hang with their international mates for a few days.

At least this break won't be demanding physically and it appears most will be back Monday or Tuesday with fairly limited travel. Egypt, and Senegal have qualified and Guniea just needs a draw from one the last 2 games, so the African boys could pull rank and sit out if they felt it was needed.

While I hate international breaks, this one shouldn't be a major issue for us.

I would love to see both Keita and Shaqiri start in midfield. Then any of Fabinho, Wijnaldum, or Henderson could play as the #6.

People don't like international break. Yet some want a winter break (and 12 months of football)

Klopp says both Hendo and Naby will take part vs Fulham.

    I agree.
