SpVgg Greuther Fürth: When is the chance for Elias Abouchabaka?Youngster at last with progress

While center-back Maximilian Bauer is firmly in the squad for the U19 national team for a four-nation tournament in Armenia, a second player of SpVgg Greuther Fürth was nominated only on call with Elias Abouchabaka. The 18-year-old offensive player can also make the international break to advertising on their own behalf, in order to make the breakthrough in the current fifth of the table. Previously played for two years by RB Leipzig left foot played by the professionals not a major role. Only in the first round of the cup against Borussia Dortmund (2: 3 n.V.) Abouchabaka came to a brief use over 23 minutes and thus still waiting for his second division debut. Last weekend, the German-Moroccan-born in Berlin was in the 2-2 draw against Bochum but at least for the fourth time to the 18er squad and seems to have come back a little closer. A certain upward trend can also be seen in the fact that Abouchabaka met on the day after the Bochum game in the 4-2 victory of the second team in Pipinsried in the Regionalliga.

Great competition in the offensive midfield
Managing Director Rachid Azzouzi last week in an interview with the Süddeutsche Zeitung the high expectations of the top talent traded and compared early with Mesut Özil young professionals identified as a problem. Also because Abouchabaka based on it probably has put itself too much pressure.

Meanwhile, Azzouzi sees a positive development and generally leaves no doubt about the qualities of the youngster: "He is now on the right path. I am convinced that he will survive all this. But he has to bring a certain amount of patience. We are completely convinced of the boy. "

The fact that things are going well in Fürth and especially in the offensive midfield with players like Julian Green, David Atanga, Tobias Mohr or Sebastian Ernst is a big competitor does not make it any easier for Abouchabaka. In the course of the season but should offer a chance, which should then of course also use the 30-time junior national team.
    https://www.liga-zwei.de/spvgg-greuther-fuerth-wann-kommt-die-chance-fuer-elias-abouchabaka/

seems to be why Abouchabaka has been on call for the last few International breaks as he's trying to breakthrough the 1st team.

I've been thinking for awhile what's the likelihood we even send the best possible 00 team to the U19 Euros in Summer???
The 00 play their last season in U19 this season but numerous 00s have already made the jump to either 1st team pro debuts or minutes whether 1BL/2BL or 3rd Liga or to the reserves or even Cup/EL.Getting closer for a lot of players.

U19 Euros is July 14-27 2019, and not including the time pre-tournament to prep as a team. Basically do you spend the whole of July essentially in NT or do you spend time trying to impress in 1st team preseason? Example, if Hamburg get promoted, do we want to see Arp playing in U19 NT or do we want to see Arp trying to stake a claim with Hamburg in order to cement himself as they go into 1BL? The answer is obvious better he focuses on his club. The ones who seem headed towards the RL might be a better choice, although then we risk bombing the tournament if we send a B/C team.

it's why U19 Euros are annoying, it's basically smack in the middle of preseason for the next season. June might have been a better time for them.

so while Baku from Mainz is injured dfb calls his twin brother. Also good to see D.Otto finally make a squad as he's usually ignored or on call only. Hasn't played for Germany since Nov 2017, a year ago. Kaya, Tachie, Shabani even with good performances only get on call. This should also be the last call up for 98s, as they turn 21 next year and would be too old for U20.

Germany U17 drew Czech 1-1 in the 1st game of the 4 Nations Tournament.
    Scorer: Marco John.

not a great result tbh. Would be surprising if we win this.
    next up the English U17.

-still think we need to stop calling up Y.Otto. So what exactly is the dfb's obsession with him? He plays in 3rd Liga for Eintracht Braunschweig a team who are currently headed for relegation to RL and if they manage to survive than he stays in 3rd Liga. He also has a 3 year contract there.

U20 is supposed to be a prep for U21, so why waste a slot on him and on a player who unless gets bought won't be going to 2BL or 1BL next season.

U21 NT outside of keepers usually doesn't go for players below 2nd division and they shouldn't. And for strikers 98-99, not going to count 00-onwards. J.Eggestein and Serra are ones already playing in 1BL/2BL. Guys like Wintzheimer, Florian Kruger (recently returned from his July injury), Kaya seem closer and closer to start playing in 2BL. Musel/Kiprit could be given 1BL chances this season as well. Daferner/Nieland seem bound to either get a chance for Freiburg at some point or move upwards during the Summer, whether loan or transfer. Daferner for one needs to leave for sure if there are no 1st team chances, Even D.Otto seems bound to get some 1st team chances. Nagelsmann did say at the beginning of the season that he will get his shot at some point 98-Warschewski (and even 00-Akono) are players who's club Munster is currently in contention for 2BL promotion as well. And there are numerous other 98-99 who could start being in consideration depending on how they do wherever they currently are.

speaking of D.Otto, seems like even fans want to see him play for the 1st team.
"Yesterday I could only see the second half but I really liked Otto. Physically very present (against not so small opponents), goal dangerous, strong passes. I'd really like to see him in action among the pros."

Pretty much how I saw him too yesterday but I had more on him.Sad part about D.Otto is that he killed it for Hoff during the Summer preseason. But at the same time, he only got his chance because Kramaric was at the WC with Croatia and then both Szalai and Beldofil were injured. Once all 3 came back to the 1st team. He went back to his real position on the team as 5th striker. Even though from what I recall he outperformed both Beldofil and Szalai during the Summer. No matter what he did, he wasn't going to displace the regulars Kramaric/Szalai, nor the new purchase in Beldofil. Joelinton came back from his 2 season loan from Austria and Nagelsmann/Hoff seemed keen on giving him a chance. At the same time, it seems like Hoff want Joelinton to be Firmino's successor. The more he does well the more they'll be able to sell him for a fortune.

-looks like Geiger is getting closer and closer to making his comeback after a long term injury. Easily a player for the next U21 cycle.

with both Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen making it to the next round in EL. Would be nice to see them give some of their youth players their pro debuts. 2 games remain in GS. Both clubs do not have a reserve team, so players are basically doing nothing but train.

    those players are
    Bayer-Schreck
    Frankfurt-Beyreuther and Knothe

U21 squad and senior NT should be announced tomorrow. But I remembered something, the 2 U21 games this month are only friendlies and we have some injury issues to boot.

    Fit: Serra
called up to the U20: J.Eggestein
    Injury/Unfit: Seydel, Teuchert, Platte

    Options left
from previous call ups: Waldschmidt and Richter. Although Richter has been exclusively on the wings save for 1 game for Augsburg.

Kuntz could go with Serra, Waldschmidt and Richter but this could be a chance to call up someone else. Other options could be Knoll, Eckert, Owusu.

Prefer Owusu but Knoll is a logical choice. Isnt doing too badly for Nurnberg

yeah Knoll deserves it, has been doing well in 1BL.I think that's why he's ahead of Owusu who's in 2BL. Interesting that both Freiburg boys were recalled in Stenzel/Koch and Dahoud made the squad for the 1st time this season.

Meanwhile Germany U16 as in the 03 group trashed the Czech Republic 7-0. Also seems like Rhein missed a PK.
    Goals were scored by
    Ibrahimi X2, Gunther X2, Suchanek, Lelle, Lutke-Frie

seems like whether Gunther or Gedikli, strikers work. Gunther started the match, while Gedikli was a sub. Then next match likely the inverse, with Gedikli starting. And I was right about Ibrahimi having potential but still rawish, well he's only 15 years old.

    German U16 XI
Ernst - Atty, Breitenbücher, Reinelt, Lelle, Knöferl, Suchanek, Rhein (K), Günther, Wirtz, Ibrahimi

wouldn't even call this the best XI and they still managed a 7-0 win.

and the bench had Gedikli, Barata, Gencoglu, Sieb, Kurt, Lutke-Frie etc and plenty of other promising 03 were not called up as well. Well we do know that the dfb has some restrictions on call ups from clubs, it's why some players don't always get a call up. And Netz who is likely the best 03 LB plays with the 02, which rarely happens.

concerning the U21 noticed that Marcel Hartel was left out. He's done very well for the German U21 but his club career leaves a lot to be desired. Still time to get this season back on track. Seems like he was left out to make space for Dahoud's return.

who are the other striker prospect of 03?
Durmushan (called up to a German U16 camp), Schmid, and Klein (W/CF), Sieb (SS)
anyone else? I'm sure there are a ton of them in U16.

Janni Serra scores his 4th of the season to make it 2-3. Helping Kiel as they currently come back from being down 1-3 to now being tied 4-4.Loves to score headers believe from his 5 in all competition only 1 wasn't a header.

    3rd Liga
Lauberbach provided his 2nd assist of the season in a 2-0 win

    Austrian 2nd division
02-Adeyemi scores his 2nd goal of the season in a 4-1 win.

    1BL
Hannover and Wolfsburg had some youth players.
XI: Anton, Maina and Rexhbecaj (very likely headed for Kosovo NT)
    subs:Yeboah
    unused bench:Muslija and Uduokhai

Yeboah played the entire 2nd half and was pretty good for Wolfsburg. Attacking wise they were a better team when he came on. His 1st real game, that 8 minutes vs Dortmund barely counts. The Hannover defense wasn't able to keep up with him at all, was very slick with his dribbling. Had 2 chances to score and created 2 very good chances for his teammates that they missed. Brekalo should have scored after Yeboah dribbled past players and launched cross from distance only for him to not shoot well. His other was a cross which the striker didn't head well enough. And in the end the only Wolfsburg goal, a PK happened after Yeboah dribbled past 2 defenders and was fouled for a FK, from the free kick, just outside the box, they ended up getting a PK.

    lol, the commentator.:D
    "Yeboah looks like a player who's played over a 100 1BL games."

he may not have scored or assisted but what he did was put himself up for more game time!!!:)

    thanks for the names.

The dfb coaches are mostly focusing on the 03 players that play in U17 this season and U17 clubs are mostly still focused on 02 as they play their last U17 season. Some teams have only 1 03 in the whole squad for example. So majority of 03s are still in U16 but as we go forward more of them are getting playing time. Sounds like we'll be getting some CFs and tons of other position reinforcements by next season, which will make the 03 even stronger group.

is Rezai doing well? Doesn't seem to be playing much this season.

RB Leipzig still like to collect German youth prospects but have done nothing with anyone. Very irritating thing, will it be better under Nagelsmann? I'm starting to doubt it, after how he's gone with this season with his own Hoff Academy players.

what do they plan to do with?
    00-Majetschak, Abouchabaka, L.Kruger, Stierlin, Krahl
    01-Bias, Hartmann, Krauss
    02-Wosz, Borkowski, Cebulla
03-Ibrahimi, Klein, Lelle, rest like Rezai are in U16

and there are others too, decent prospects. They can't promote everyone so most will leave. They gave some chances to Stierlin and Majetschak and Rangnick said he was overall impressed by Majetschak during his last game in EL. Yet RB seems to be planning to buy some midfielders in Winter, thus these 2 will be blocked. Very puzzling club that isn't helping German football at all. Between lack of promoting (more like 0), having like 4 Germans in the whole team, some games playing 0 XI with Germans.

Wolfsburg is a club that these days barely ever promote players. More likely to buy them than promote. The rest they dump in II with no real 1st team prospects unless they are forced to use them because of injuries.

lol, good comment, mocking Wolfsburg, especially at how they keep spending so much money only to fight relegation battle.

"In Wolfsburg we do not like to see young players playing, they could be better than the whole number of 'stars' in the team. This approach has worked so well in the years before. In the end, one would still reap the fruits for the good and cost-intensive youth work. No No, rather established Bundesliga players use for a lot of money, so you can burn two times the money. The VFL already know what they are doing, do not worry. And one point that many ignore, you have to keep in mind, of course. Yeboah is an A youth player, so he can logically not play better than Brooks, Arnold, Cuba or Malli, that's what A-youth players have to say yourself."

-01 Aidonis made the bench for the 1st time and made his pro debut as he came on the 90+1 minute. And he's now the 2nd 01 after Asta to make his 1BL debut. Other 01 like Hartmann and Bias made their pro debuts in EL qualifiers. While Winter was very close to making his as well in EL.

-Mittelstadt got a red card and Torunarigha made his return in the 2nd half as 10 men Hertha got trashed 4-1. Doesn't help that on top of that Stark was injured during the match and subbed out early.

-J.Eggestein played the entire 2nd half, didn't do too badly/had positive actions as the team lost 3-1.
