Did't really mind if we lost, tied, or won..........just wanted to see how we would lose, tie, and/or won. With that said these youngsters showed guts, and heart to comeback and actually get the win. The pups are growing and i only pray that they continue to get good minutes at their respective teams. Nevertheless, also hoping that some of these youngsters make the move to Europe.............instead of being enslaved in the Liga MX....................let the kids fly away to better opportunities.

Players age at different rates but Ochoa will be 37. Not thinking about which GKs could potentially start in 2022 is silly, and if he were willing to play for us why wouldn’t they want him? He’s above any Mexican in the league.

37 for a gk is like 33 for an outfielder. I don’t see him losing the starting position unless he gets injured.

Volpi would be a great no. 2, though.

But Mexico is just going to play Argentina...unless Messi comes back early, I wouldn't be all that worried.

Some of these young players spent a few weeks together at the Toulon Tournament in the early part of the summer. Some of that chemistry could have been mined by Tuca but he's chosen to trot out some strange formations that are just about as inept athletically as his ability to manage these games.

Not sure why it matters if four players didn't start for their clubs last weekend. Would love for you to expand on that point.

Henry showed a lot of verve and enthusiasm but I'm not sure anyone would describe him as a beast.

This is an interesting take, especially when one considers the fact that Osorio's 4-3-3 was primarily designed to allow Lozano and Corona the freedom to be wide forwards and win 1v1 battles and not task them with as much defensive responsibility by playing them further back as pure wingers. Corona was our best offensive player in the first year and a half of Osorio's tenure precisely because of that freedom. His absence from the Confederations Cup allowed Lozano to thrive exactly under the same system.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by Corona being wasted by Osorio.

On a different note, some people actually needed to see Lajud scrambling around the box with the senior National Team to come around to the idea that he just isn't very good despite his stats in the league or his age.

I like Lajud but more than happy with Gudiño as the future number 1.

I'm just extremely salty about his lack of playing time at the WC.

About Henry: I was impressed. He had little time to think and still managed to position himself well enough to blast a slowly incoming pass past one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Personally I would have called up Alexis Vega instead, but overall Henry did quite well.

Alvarez is a true talent and can only get better. We got some good young keepers in Lajud and Gudiño so not too much to worry about there.

Aguirre definitely deserves to keep getting looked at and Guzman is a beast.

We sprinkle some of this young talent with some of the more experienced players and we have a solid ass team.

I hope we get to see Jonathan Gonzalez next game, because he is another promising talent. Speaking of promising talents, what happened to Lainez?

Yeah I've been eager to see more of J. Gonzalez, he really impressed me when he made his debut, but it seems like he's been MIA in the last few friendlies even though he was called up. Really hope he gets the start against Chile.

You could have placed Gullit Peña as goalie in the games against New Zeland and it wouldn’t have made a difference
