Iconic throughout the football world, the design and inspiration for the AC Milan 12/13 Home Soccer Jersey celebrates the club's origins and winning tradition. Adidas AC Milan’s 2012-13 Home shirt launch was accompanied by a campaign, whose objective: remind Italy and the world that Milan are one of the game’s most successful clubs.

The campaign was conceived in order to rediscover the inspiration behind Kilpin & other’s establishing Milan Cricket and Football Club. It was so achieved by retracing the sites where the story took place: among the liberty buildings of the historic centre of Milan, just a few steps from the Duomo, began the history of AC Milan. Back to wider stripes—5 in total including 3 black and 2 red—the new Rossoneri jersey features the Italian flag interwoven in vertical, between the black and red stripes, and on the front side this detail is recognizable by a green oblique insert, and another one red, interposed with a white neck.

After three years the polo collar is back, in a stylish retro white, with neat epaulets with adidas’ signature 3-white-sleeve stripes on the shoulders; and "AC Milan" is stitched on the back collar. This extraordinary jersey also has the embroidered AC Milan team badge over the heart and adidas logo on the right, with Fly Emirates sponsor screened on the center chest. > more
